The CS FallBack (CSFB)  in EPS enables the provisioning of voice and other CS-domain services (e.g. CS UDI video, LCS, USSD) by reuse of CS infrastructure when the UE is served by E-UTRAN. A CSFB enabled terminal, connected to E-UTRAN may use GERAN or UTRAN to connect to the CS-domain.

Validating voice over LTE end-to-end

Ericsson - Unlike previous 3GPP wireless technologies, LTE has no circuit-switched bearer to support voice, so carrying voice over LTE requires a migration to a voice over IP (VoIP) solution – commonly under the umbrella of IMS. Until this migration occurs, LTE-capable handsets need to revert to 2G or 3G for voice calls: an approach that is not ideal in the long term.

4G LTE WiMAX Courses

4G technologies LTE & WiMAX are being deployed worldwide with LTE taking lead now. 3GPP Release 9 expands the functionality of Release 8 as well as laying solid foundations for LTE-Advanced. 3GPP proposed LTE Release 10 & beyond (LTE-Advanced) as a candidate for IMT-Advanced which has been accepted by ITU. The new capabilities of LTE-Advanced is envisaged to handle a wide range of supported data rates with target peak data rates of up to approximately 100 Mbit/s for high mobility and up to approximately 1 Gbit/s for low mobility. In comparison to LTE, LTE-Advanced is wider than approximately 70 MHz in DL and 40 MHz in UL.

Web Based 3G (UMTS, HSPA), 4G (LTE) Training

Web-based training is a way of delivering of NgnGuru's "classroom" Telecom courses via the Internet using online Web training tools.
