4G technologies LTE & WiMAX are being deployed worldwide with LTE taking lead now. Many commercial LTE/WiMAX networks are already in-service worldwide and many planned to go live. 3GPP LTE (Long Term Evolution) Project was launched to improve the UMTS mobile phone standard to cope with future technology evolutions. Goals include improving spectral efficiency, lowering costs, improving services, making use of new spectrum and reframed spectrum opportunities, and better integration with other open standards. Based on IEEE 802.16 standard, WiMAX, the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access provides wireless data over long distances in a variety of ways, from point-to-point links to full mobile cellular type access.
Individuals interested in understanding how 4G technologies being leveraged to enhance end-user experience in a wireless network and how 4G network would be deployed should attend these courses. Those who already have a working knowledge of 3G; or telecom professionals who currently serve in sales, systems engineering, architecture, design, test, support, or operations roles will find these courses to be especially beneficial.
